I bought this to replace the one of the same make. It is about half the size of what I had so I didn’t expect a lot from it. Well, this heater puts out far more heat than than its larger version and blows further too. I had to reposition it further away due to the superior output. It has the same 3 fan setting of ambient air (just fan), low heat and high heat. It also has a simple dial that can be adjusted to control when the unit turns on/off based on the area temp. It’s manual so when the area is the temp you want, just turn the dial to the point the heater turns off and your set. The heater will turn back on when the area temp drop to a point below that like a home thermostat does. Another safety feature is the switch under the base of the unit. If the unit is knocked over it will automatically shut off until righted. The only negative for me is that it is a bit louder than the larger version I have but all around I’m very pleased with it’s performance and love that it takes up less space.
