I used this item for peachicks I hatched in an incubator. I only had one chick from each of two groups. They are 3 weeks apart in age, but it worked out well anyway. The older one didn't need it as much when the younger one hatched, but he still got under the plate to snuggle with her when he wanted to. It's easy to use and obviously does the job, as both chicks are doing well and passed the point where they need it.
