We saw all the bad reviews but we still decided to order because we could not find a different option. So when my husband connect at first there was no heat at all and we were not sure what was going on. He is an electrician so he tested the power and said that the unit isnt using any electricity. So he opened it up and saw that inside there is a pump sensor, since we have a bestway pool that has a small pump, the pressure was not enough to activate the unit. (I guess its there so the unit wont overheat when pump isnt working). We are considering buying a more powerful pump but for now he just disconnected the sensor and the heater worked!! We had the heat work over night and in the morning our 1000 gal pool was 31c, pretty good! so far very happy with this heater!
