This does not put out a ton of heat, I just put it together and turned it on on my covered porch, it’s about 45 degree Fahrenheit outside, and this really only helped if I was standing directly under it and there was zero wind. I would imagine that it would be more helpful in a tented space with more walls to keep the heat in. My porch is open on 3 sides, so it’s probably not the best place for this.Also, in order to adjust the height, you have to disassemble it, and remove one of the rod lengths. It’s not really an easy adjustment.Overall not sure if it is worth what I paid, but hopefully will help a little with socializing over the winter outside due to COVID. I may get a second heater that put out heat lower down, and probably that would help.Excellent quality material. Sturdy and throws off great heat. We use it on our patio between the two of us. It does an excellent job of taking the chill out of the air. If you had an enclosed area it would cast more heat for the room. But outside it really seems to be good for the two of us directly above us. It was easy to assemble. Had 3 speeds. Pleased with price and purchase.The item was incredibly easy to put together, easy to operate and puts our a great deal of heat. However, it has a plastic connector that isn't heat-safe and is melting and emitting toxic fumes. Super bummed- hopefully they replace this with a heat-safe, non-toxic coated metal because it is otherwise a great design and sturdy productIt doesn't get very hot.I’m convinced no testing at all was done on this product. It serves one purpose only: it increases your electric bill and leaves your patio cold. It seems to have been a fly-by-nite operation, as it was readily available and had good reviews and now there’s somehow only one review besides mine. A waste of precious metals and money. The manufacturer must have no soul to dupe 1000’s of people.Not for use outdoors. At 40 degrees you need to be directly under it to perceive any heatWhile it was easy to assemble - once I stared at the pictures long enough as there were very few written instructions - as an older person, used to being led through assembly processes, I was challenged for a bit. But, once I got the "lay of the land" it went smooth.
