HealSmart 32-inch Bladeless Tower Fan with Heater Combo - 9H Timer, 10 Speed Settings & Remote Control - Quiet Air Circulator for Home, Office & Bedroom - Purple (Perfect for Year-Round Comfort & Energy Savings)

I purchased this fan to use in my garage and replace an old cheap pedestal fan that was full of dirt and soot that I could not clean. I selected this fan for three reason:Bladeless so that it is easier to cleanRemote so it is easier to controlCombination fan / heater (self explanatory)Bladeless- I am shocked about how loud this is since it is advertised as being so quite you can use while sleeping. I found this to be a lot louder than the old cheap blade fan it was replacing. I am using it in the garage so the loudness is not a factor for me but def consider this.Remote works but it has to be aimed directly at the base of the fan (not in the direction of the base but aimed at a specific place). Also, it does not hold the old setting (fan level) once you turn it off.Fan / heater. I live in texas so right now I cannot comment on the heater. However I can say that this fan on 10 is only marginally higher than the old fan on its highest setting.I know it sounds like I am unhappy with the fan but for what I use it for (in my garage) it serves its purpose. If I had purchased this as a bedroom or office fan, I would return it due to loudness and finicky remote control.Wonderfull inventionI absolutely love this fan!! I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and deal with chronic pain. My internal body temperature hasn’t been working several years. I can be freezing one minute and then the next minute I’m overheating. This is the best fan cause I can switch temperatures with one touch.This is a powerful fan and even on the low settings, it does it’s job! I use this in my bedroom where I keep my vent closed so that the air conditioner doesn’t make my skin hurt so bad. I’m so impressed that I can touch a button and it switches to heat, then cool, and then back to heat. I highly recommend this fan to heating and cooling larger rooms fast. By pressing the fan speed button to a higher number, it will cool off the room faster. The fan oscillates or stays in one position.This fan is easy to clean when it’s not being used. Like the manual says, do not pick up and move the fan by hanging onto the blade less circle. Excellent product!!Great product..keeps room the right temp and super easy to useI’ve had it for a week and so far very pleased with how well it does cool or heat a room. I think it will be perfect for hot Summer days and cold Winter nights. My only complaint is that it is definitely a bit louder than the “no bothering noise” advertised. I previously had a Dyson Hot/Cool and run them both overnight on a low setting for white noise, and the HealSmart is a bit louder, equivalent to a regular fan.I had a Dyson unit that I loved but it broke and they are so expensive. This unit works well. It's small so doesn't look awful in our family room. I love that it has a heating option also. The only complaint is the remote tends to need extra manipulation to work.I love the sleek design and it has a good air flow. I love the fact that it can be used as a heater in winter and fam in summer. The only two drawbacks for me are one, you can’t set it to a particular temperature where it shuts off when desired temperature is reached and two, sometimes while blowing hot, you feel a blast of cool air come through. I decided to keep it largely because I don’t want a fan and heater sitting in my living room and I think dysons are too expensive.Nice breeze type air flow. Comfortable for the Pup (pet approved by her).Its not a Dyson fan, thats why its cheaper, but it works well enough compared to a dyson. So far no complaints on my end. I personally like the color scheme and believe it looks nice for its price. I would recommend this fan because it works well enough without the massive cost connected to similar brands.This fan cord got very hot after 10 mins even with the right circuit outlet. The fan worked great for the first 20 days. Then suddenly, it just stopped working. Not worth the money.This was a somewhat disappointing purchase. OK, some good points first. It has a nice chilly breeze when this fan works and it looks very stylish; very Dyson-like. No fan blades also means that this is safe around children and pets. I like the base of the unit and how you just tap on the metal icons and they work.Now, the bad points. First, the remote is really bad. I need to be 3 feet away or less from the fan in order for it to detect the remote signal. Next, this fan is loud. On the highest setting, it's as loud as a hair dryer. Maybe in a large business or commercial space, you won't hear it very much but in a home, this thing is LOUD. On on the lowest setting, it's whisper quiet but the lowest setting doesn't generate much cooling wind. The oscillating "sway" feature also turns off when you turn the fan on so if you like the fan to oscillate, you need to turn it on every single time you turn on the fan.The BIGGEST ISSUE with this fan is that while using the cooling fan feature, sometimes it begins to send out hot air instead of cold. Can you imagine how that feels on a hot summer day? You're receiving a nice cool breeze from the fan and all of sudden, the breeze begins to become warmer and warmer until it's as hot as a hair dryer. And yes, I know this unit is also a heater but I know for a fact that nobody turned on the heater feature at that moment because the fan feature only goes up to level 10 while the heater levels go much higher. This is something that the fan will do on its own.For the price, this fan is not worth it. Buy an air conditioner or a standard fan. If I knew this fan was like this, I wouldn't have bought it.Upon receiving the fan, I started to test it out. I noticed the plastic felt really low quality and poor, and fairly small. Guess I didn't read the finer details at the time of purchase.I then plugged it in and tested it. I noticed right off the bat that it didn't really cool the air very well. It has 10 speeds with anything above 6 sounding like a 747 taking off compared to my conventional fan.I then tried the rotation function. It rotated a bit to the right then stopped. Didn't rotate back. I tried moving it a little and I heard a click. It rotated to the left then stopped. Tried moving it again and I heard the same click, and it went back before it locked up completely. No amount of force allowed it to move again.Really shoddy construction all around. Guess you get what you pay for.Doesn’t take up too much room, fastest speed not great and noisier than expected.Battery for remote dead when I received it, was already in remote and don’t believe it was supposed to be.
